One of the "rules" of psychic development (and life for that matter) is that "you get what you need and not necessarily what you want". Today, I decided to lay down and meditate and was once again reminded of that rule.
I have been working through karma relating to a past life. My Spirit Guides have been having chats with me on and off about it to help give me understanding as I finally resolve the karma.
Those kinds of chats can be quite mind-expanding. You have to examine your thoughts and actions and try to see how your attitude from the past life is affecting your current path (or has affected you in the past). It explains a lot but also changes one's life as you change an attitude.
Anyway, I decided to get down to the nitty-gritty of it all and have a more intense discussion with them through a meditation session.
The first thing that happens in my meditation is that I am following a path of rose petals leading up to my cabin. The door is open and I go inside. It is set up as a very romantic scenario. There are candles all over the place and a fire is lit in the fireplace. There is a table set with candles and crystal and it is all simply beautiful. It feels warm and definitely romantic.
My butler (yes, there is a butler who is a type of Spirit Guide that is apparently going to help me with the Soulmate relationship) pulls out a chair for me to sit. So I say, "This is great Herbert (that's his name), but I don't think that having a romantic Valentine's Day dinner by myself is all that romantic or necessary."
At that point, the door opens and in walks my Soulmate. He is carrying a huge bouquet of red roses and he asks if he can join me. He greets my butler and chats with him like he already knows him. Then we have a bit of a discussion and he sits down. At that point, I phase out so I don't remember anything else until I open my eye a while later.
The first thing I say when I get up is, "thanks guys, but that doesn't explain anything about the past life and I have no idea why you would give me a romantic Valentine's Day dinner with my Soulmate when he is not in my life and I really doubt he is that close to being in my life." All is quiet. No answer.
So I guess I will have to accept that "you get what you need and not what you want" and try to sort out the karmic issue while in a fully conscious state!
Meditation sessions - you never know what you'll get!
