It has been so busy over the last few months! Yesterday was my first free "Online Metaphysical Discussion" and I have to say it was quite a "half success". Yep, only half a success because I couldn't figure out how to read the responses from the chat that people were typing.
If those of you who attended can believe it, I did do a practice session to ensure things were working but I did not check the chat. What did that mean? Well, it meant that I wasn't sure that anyone who was online could hear me so I fumbled around quite a bit.
I finally just started answering some questions that were sent in but I would get distracted and forget my train of thought. I kept thinking..."Am I talking to myself?"..."Can these people hear me?"..."This is not going very well."...etc.
Then I would try and figure out how to read the chat while talking which also distracted me. lol
I did figure out how to hear someone who was online and had a mic. Once that happened, I knew people were hearing me and I could have a few discussions online with them.
The good news is that just after the session finished, I discovered that there was a "Question Pane" that I had to open and if I did that, I could see all the chat responses. Ah well, lesson learned.

I really enjoyed speaking to the people and answering the questions. One person suggested that 1/2 hour might not be long enough but I don't want to take up everybody's time or overload people.
By keeping them down to 1/2 hour, I may even increase the frequency of them - like once a week at different dates/times to accommodate different time zones. Time will tell. We will see how the next one goes and I am really looking forward to it...
