I'm not one for rushing out to see movies regardless of the hype around it or the awards it wins however, when my landlord asked me if I wanted to borrow his copy of Avatar to watch - I graciously accepted. Little did I know that it was going to become one of my favorite spiritual movies to watch.
It has a very basic plot - the greedy, ignorant humans want to mine the ore under the land where the Na'vi people live on a planet called Pandora. The blue aliens that live there are extremely spiritual and the land itself is spectacular.
Each Na'vi Being has a long braid of hair that has a "nerve ending". This nerve ending connect can be connected to other animals, birds and plants. This completed bond creates a connection that allows them to feel and communicate with nature with total understanding.
When they walk in the forest, every step that they take shows the connection with light. There is a total respect for nature.
They live very much like the Native American Indian and in fact, the movie reminded me a lot of the plight of the Indians - how the white man took everything from them and called them all kinds of names because of their beliefs and way of living.
I have already watched the movie about 10 times and each time I see something different. It brings out so many emotions and it makes one truly want to live in a place where there is so much peace and understanding.
If you have not seen Avatar, I truly recommend it. Fascinating movie.

Receiving Direction from Spirit - What It's Like to Be Psychic
For the last year or so, I kept getting the impression that I needed to automate my membership site. When a thought keeps repeating in your mind then you know that you should be paying attention to that thought. I recognized the thought but intuition was telling me "not yet". The repetitive thought was preparing me for when the time was right. I knew that time would come when I was ready and when it was time, I knew I would take action.
It finally hit a point where I knew it was time to take action so I started to research membership software. Any software that I had looked at before involved a lot of work to set-up and I just didn't have the energy to do it. Just the same, I started surfing to see what I could find.
I did find a couple of software packages that would probably suit my purposes but again, the amount of work was going to be extensive. I got really close to purchasing one software but something, an overall body feeling (my intuition) was telling me "not yet".
I started getting really frustrated and was thinking of just forgetting the whole thing. At that point, I heard one of my Spirit Guides say, "You'll find it." They had been quiet up to that point and they were obviously giving me some guidance so I asked if I was going to find a software that would not be so difficult to implement. I was told that I would.
I then asked if I had already found the software I was going to end up using through my research. No answer. Hmmm, no answer usually means that for some reason, they don't want to answer me. Now the question was "why don't they want to answer me?".
I continued searching and found another software to investigate. I discovered that it worked in a way that I did not have to add all of the pages of the site over again - BIG BONUS! They also had a 30 day fully functional trial period which was perfect. I downloaded it and eventually bought it. The guidance was correct.
My mind then went back to trying to figure out why the Guides had not answered me when I asked them if I had found the software through my research. I realized that I had read something about the software while investigating ANOTHER software. A testimonial praised the software I was researching and said horrible things about the software I ended up buying. I now understood why I did not receive an answer...do you know why they didn't answer me? Take a moment and think about it. Here's the answer and I know this may be a bit confusing...
Although the software was mentioned (so I was aware of its existence through my research of another software), I had not researched it yet.
They could not answer "yes" to the question "have I found the software through my research already?", because they knew that I would have selected the one software that was "okay" but a lot of work. I would have made an incorrect assumption.
They could not answer "no" to my question because the Guides do not lie and I actually had found the software through my research but had not yet researched it.
Phrasing your questions is very important to receiving accurate information from the Guides. To get an accurate response, I should have asked 2 questions...
1. Have I researched the software I am meant to buy yet? The answer would have been "no".
2. Have I already run across the software I am meant to buy yet? The answer would have been "yes".
While you can receive a lot of guidance from those in Spirit, understanding how they work will help you to interpret the information that you are given.
